President Bola Tinubu’s administration has undergone a significant reshuffle, with five ministers relieved of their duties with immediate effect.
The affected ministers include:

This development was confirmed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on Wednesday. The President’s decision comes after threatening to sack underperforming ministers, marking a significant move to reinvigorate his administration.
In addition to the ministerial shake-up, President Tinubu has also renamed the Ministry of Niger Delta to *Ministry of Regional Development*. This change aims to streamline regional development efforts and eliminate duplications.
The President has also appointed seven new ministers, including *Bianka Ojukwu* as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and *Jumoke Oduwole* as Minister of Trade and Investment. These appointments are subject to Senate confirmation.
Furthermore, President Tinubu has reassigned 10 ministers to new portfolios, demonstrating his commitment to optimizing his administration’s performance. The reshuffle is expected to bring new momentum to key sectors, including education, tourism, and youth development.
