American rapper 50 Cent has finally broken his silence on the mounting sex trafficking and rape allegations against his longtime rival, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In an exclusive interview with People, 50 Cent shared his thoughts on the controversy.
Diddy is currently facing multiple sexual assault and rape charges, including allegations of raping a 13-year-old girl. Federal agents arrested him at a Manhattan hotel following a grand jury indictment. This development marks the second batch of sexual assault lawsuits against the embattled rapper.
When asked about Diddy’s allegations, 50 Cent stated, “Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I have not. It’s really me just saying what I have been saying for 10 years.” He added, “Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with Diddy’s stuff, but away from that. I’m like, Yo, it is just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because it is not my style.”
The tension between 50 Cent and Diddy dates back to the 1990s. Their rift intensified after 50 Cent released his 2006 diss track, “The Bomb,” accusing Diddy of involvement in the 1997 murder of fellow artist Biggie Smalls.
50 Cent’s comments come amidst Diddy’s growing legal troubles. The hip-hop world watches as the situation unfolds, with many reflecting on the long-standing feud between the two rappers. 50 Cent’s perspective adds another layer to the complex narrative surrounding Diddy’s allegations.
