The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Lazarus Muoka, has issued a stern warning to social media influencer, Martins Otse (VeryDarkMan), to cease speaking ill of his church.
Muoka’s warning comes after VeryDarkMan questioned the authenticity of some church members’ testimonies, which went viral on social media. These testimonies included claims of miraculous interventions, such as a lion saving a member from kidnappers and another member seizing AK-47 rifles from armed robbers.
VeryDarkMan called for an investigation by the Christian Association of Nigeria and threatened legal action against the church.
“Somebody came to talk to me and said ‘Pastor, do you see this man that is talking against us?… I said no, Chosen will not learn something the hard way and that he is the one who will learn something the hard way.”
“I didn’t speak evil of him. I only made a statement. I don’t want to speak evil, because if I say anything negative or evil, it will happen immediately.”
“I cannot speak evil against any man but I’m telling you that VeryDarkMan is learning something today the hard way. I didn’t say that in order to punish him, I only said what he said. If God’s anointed gets angry with you, you are finished.”
This development is the latest in VeryDarkMan’s controversies, involving notable figures like Bobrisky, Falz, Femi Falana, EFCC officials, and Nigerian Correctional Service personnel.
