The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has taken a significant step to ensure Keystone Bank’s sustained growth by reconstituting its board of directors.
This strategic move, announced on Wednesday, aims to propel the financial institution to greater heights.
*New Leadership at Keystone Bank*
Lady Ada Chukwudozie, a veteran in Nigeria’s corporate sector, takes the helm as the new board chairman. Chukwudozie brings nearly three decades of experience in business strategy, management, and administration, with a diverse background in multiple industries, including De-Endy Industrial Company Limited and Vogue Afrique Magazine.
Joining Chukwudozie are five other non-executive directors:
– _Abdul-Rahman Esene_: 43 years of experience in banking, investment management, and corporate finance
– _Mrs. Fola Akande_: Over 25 years of experience in legal, compliance, and risk management
– _Akintola Olusoji_: Distinguished 30-year career in accounting, finance, and business development
– _Obijiaku Samuel_: More than 35 years of experience in banking and treasury operations
– _Senator Farouk Bello_: Seasoned banker with over 20 years of experience.
*New Executive Directors*
Two new executive directors have been appointed to bring their expertise to the table:
– _Ladi Oluwole_: Executive Director of Risk Management, with over two decades of experience in credit and enterprise risk management
– _Abubakar Bello_: Executive Director for the Northern Directorate, with extensive experience managing corporate, retail, and public sector clients.
