Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has shared his opinion on the top three fastest and most skillful players in the current Nigerian national team.
In a recent interview with the Counter Attack Podcast, Osimhen named Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, and Samuel Chukwueze as the quickest players in the team.
“The quickest, first of all, Simon, Lookman, and Samuel,” Osimhen said, highlighting the speed and agility of these players. When it comes to skill, Osimhen identified Boniface Nwofor, Ademola Lookman, and Kelechi Iheanacho as the top three players in the team. “In match situations, the most skillful: Boniface, Ademola, and also Iheanacho,” he added.
Osimhen’s comments come on the heels of Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic, where he scored a goal to help the Super Eagles secure a crucial victory. The 25-year-old will now shift his focus to the team’s upcoming match against Rwanda on Tuesday, where he will be expected to lead Augustine Eguavoen’s men to another win.
As the Super Eagles continue their campaign to qualify for the 2025 AFCON, Osimhen’s assessment of his teammates provides insight into the team’s strengths and weaknesses. With their speed and skill, the Super Eagles will be looking to make a strong impression in the tournament.
