Tragedy has struck the family of renowned Fuji musician, Sulaimon Adekunle, popularly known as KS1 Malaika, as his mother, Alhaja Rukayat Mojirayo, passes away.
The news of her demise was announced by KS1 Malaika’s brother, Azeez Malaika, on social media late Monday night.
Azeez Malaika poured out his heart in a touching tribute, saying, “I never know you will leave without saying goodbye, mother. The painful part is that you left when I was not around. Unquestionable God. Rest well, mother.”
The Fuji music industry has been thrown into mourning as colleagues and fans of KS1 Malaika offer their condolences to the bereaved family. Alhaja Rukayat Mojirayo’s passing is a great loss to the Malaika family and the music world at large.
Alhaja Rukayat Mojirayo will be remembered for her immense support and influence on her son’s music career. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives touched by KS1 Malaika’s music. May she rest in peace.
