Renowned music executive, Paulo Okoye, has declared Burna Boy as Nigeria’s wealthiest musician, citing his impressive earnings in 2023.
Okoye revealed during an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze that Burna Boy raked in a staggering $80 million in 2023 alone, solidifying his position as the richest musician in Nigeria.
Okoye praised Burna Boy’s efficient business model, noting that he operates with a small, tight-knit team comprising his mother, sister, and a few others. “He has a very small unit of people… So every other person is either contractors or consultants,” Okoye explained.
Okoye emphasized Burna Boy’s financial success, stating, “The only person that is making money in Nigeria is Burna Boy. He made at least $80 to $100 million four years ago. Burna Boy is on another level.”
