Grammy-nominated rapper Travis Scott has been arrested in Paris after a physical altercation with a security guard at the luxurious Georges V hotel.
According to the Paris prosecutor’s office, Scott was taken into custody on Friday after police were called to the scene to separate the singer from his bodyguard.
The incident marks the second time Scott has been arrested in recent months, following his arrest in Miami Beach in June for trespassing and disorderly intoxication. Scott was spotted in Paris on Thursday, attending the Olympics’ men’s basketball semi-finals.
The Paris prosecutor’s office stated, “Policemen were called to the Georges V hotel and arrested Travis Scott for violence against a security agent. The latter had intervened to separate the singer from his bodyguard.” Scott’s arrest has sparked concern among his fans, who are eagerly awaiting his next move.
