The Kaduna State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated new ward executive committee members, following the successful conduct of ward congresses.
According to a statement by the PDP Chairman in Kaduna, Felix Hassan Hyat, the National Working Committee (NWC) has approved the elected ward executive committees.
Hyat stated that the NWC has directed the State Working Committee (SWC) to take necessary steps to inaugurate the newly elected ward executive committee members. He virtually inaugurated the successful ward officials, citing Section 65 of the Party’s Constitution (2017 as amended).
“By this announcement, you stand inaugurated as the new ward executive committee members of our great Party, the PDP, effective 27/07/2024 for a tenure of four years,” Hyat said. This development marks a significant milestone in the party’s efforts to reposition itself ahead of future elections.
