Nigerian rapper, Vector Tha Viper, has sounded a warning to celebrities who support bad governance, urging them to repent and stand with the people.
Vector’s call comes as many Nigerian celebrities have openly declared their support for politicians, with some even joining partisan politics. However, the rapper believes this stance is misguided and warned that the consequences of bad governance will eventually affect them too.
In a post on his X handle, Vector wrote, “To the celebrities taking sides against the reality of their own people/fans, it may be best to repent before you become the only reachable option if the hardship doesn’t stop. Stop supporting bad governance.”
His message comes as Nigerians continue to protest against the high level of hardship in the country, with many calling for change and accountability from those in power. Vector’s advice is a reminder that celebrities, as influencers, have a responsibility to use their platforms for good and stand with the people.
