Fulham FC has announced the signing of Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal FC on a five-year deal, with an option to extend for another year.
The England international, who can play various attacking roles, expressed his excitement about joining the Craven Cottage club.
“I’m finally here, so I’m really happy for me and my family – it’s a good moment. I’m really excited, I just wanted to get here as quickly as possible so I could get going with my teammates,” Smith Rowe said.
Fulham’s vice-chairman, Tony Khan, welcomed Smith Rowe, saying, “We’re very excited to sign such a talented young player… We look forward to Emile joining the squad in Portugal as we continue to prepare for the new season ahead!”
Arsenal bid farewell to Smith Rowe, who joined their academy at age 10 and made 115 senior appearances, scoring 18 goals and assisting 13 times. Sporting Director Edu praised Smith Rowe’s development and wished him well, while coach Mikel Arteta thanked him for his contributions and commitment.
