American rapper Cardi B has revealed that she is expecting her third child, just a day after filing for divorce from her husband of six years, Offset.
The 31-year-old hip-hop star shared the news on Instagram, showcasing her baby bump and expressing gratitude for the new chapter in her life.
Cardi B wrote, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!”
The rapper’s representative confirmed that she is seeking primary custody of their two children, son Wave Set, 2, and daughter Kulture Kiari, 6, in the divorce filing. Cardi B and Offset secretly married in 2017 and have a history of tumultuous relationships, with previous divorce filings and public accusations of infidelity.
This latest development comes after Cardi B publicly blasted Offset in June 2023 for claiming she cheated on him. The couple has been married for six years, with a history of breakups and reconciliations.
