Top officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State have cautioned youths against participating in the planned #EndBadGovernance protest, slated for today.
Speaking at a gathering in Ibadan, APC chieftains, including Kolawole Raji, Muraina Ajibola, Dapo Lam, Sunday Adepoju, and Segun Odebunmi, appealed to the youths to shun the protest, citing potential dangers.
Raji, who represented his colleagues, highlighted President Tinubu’s achievements in local government autonomy, student loans, and infrastructure development. He emphasized the need for patience, saying, “President Tinubu met significant challenges upon taking office but is committed to addressing them methodically… We implore our people to give the president more time to put Nigeria back in shape.”
The meeting aimed to sensitize APC members about the potential risks of the protest and discuss the state of the nation. The APC chieftains urged youths to give President Tinubu more time to address the country’s challenges, expressing confidence in his ability to restore Nigeria’s greatness.
