President Bola Tinubu has paid tribute to the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, describing him as a “renowned businessman and politician”.
Ubah, who represented Anambra South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, passed away on Saturday in a London hotel at the age of 52.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu extended his condolences to the family and friends of the late Senator, as well as to the National Assembly and the government and people of Anambra State.
“The President also prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed lawmaker, as well as for strength and comfort to his family,” the statement added. Ubah, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, was also the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil. His passing has left a void in the political and business communities, and he will be deeply missed.
