The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has dismissed the possibility of suspending Governor Charles Soludo from the party, citing potential benefits to rival parties.
APGA’s National Chairman, Edozie Njoku, addressed journalists in Lagos, stating that suspending Soludo would only benefit the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Njoku emphasized the importance of peace within the party, acknowledging that dissenting views are inevitable, especially in Nigeria’s challenging environment.
APGA is focused on reconciling internal differences, recognizing that suspension would not resolve issues.
The National Working Committee (NWC) discussed the suggestion to suspend Soludo but failed to reach an agreement, opting instead for reconciliation efforts.
Njoku acknowledged that political maneuvering is inherent in politics, but APGA prioritizes peace and unity over suspension.
