Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has thrown his weight behind Donald Trump’s presidential bid, declaring his support at the Republican National Convention on Thursday.
Hogan, a longtime friend of Trump’s, made a dramatic entrance, ripping off his shirt to reveal a red Trump Vance muscle shirt.
The WWE Hall of Famer praised Trump as a “gladiator” who has withstood intense opposition, saying, “They have thrown everything at Trump, and he is still standing and kicking their butts.” Hogan expressed confidence in Trump’s chances, stating, “He is going to win in November, and we are all going to be champions again when he wins.”
This is not Hogan’s first show of support for Trump. In 2015, he expressed interest in being Trump’s running mate. Hogan’s endorsement adds to the growing list of celebrity supporters backing Trump’s presidential campaign.
