Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has vowed to put an end to ongoing international crises and restore American prestige on the global stage.
Speaking at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Trump painted a dire picture of the world under President Joe Biden, warning of a potential World War III.
Trump blamed Biden for conflicts worldwide, including those predating his presidency. He promised to resolve every international crisis, including the Russia-Ukraine war, if elected to a second term. Trump also demanded the release of American hostages held abroad, threatening consequences if they are not freed before his potential inauguration.
Additionally, Trump pledged to build a US version of Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, despite its limitations against intercontinental missiles. He claimed to have a good relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, suggesting that Kim misses him and wants him back in office.
“We will restore peace, stability, and harmony throughout the world,” Trump said, without providing details on his plans. “Under our leadership, the United States will be respected again. No nation will question our power, no enemy will doubt our might, and our borders will be secure.”
