Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, a billionaire in the cryptocurrency space, has been released on bail after spending three days in police custody.
This development was announced by VeryDarkMan, a controversial social media activist, on his Instagram page on Friday.
VeryDarkMan had earlier reported Blord’s arrest, alleging fraud and terrorism funding. However, in a recent update, he revealed that Blord’s release came after intense pleading and tears. According to VeryDarkMan, Blord will return next week to face charges, expressing confidence in the Nigerian Police Force’s ability to uphold justice.
Contrary to VeryDarkMan’s claims, the Blord Group had earlier denied allegations of arrest, stating that Blord was merely invited for questioning. The group’s statement aimed to clarify the situation and dispel any misinformation.
Blord’s arrest and subsequent release have sparked widespread interest, with many following the development closely. The outcome of next week’s proceedings remains eagerly anticipated.
