In a surprise move, renowned singer Adele has revealed her decision to take a break from music, opting to explore other creative pursuits.
The 16-time Grammy winner, who has been residing in the US for two years, plans to return to her home country in November.
Adele clarified her intentions in an interview with German broadcaster ZDF, stating, “I don’t have plans for new music at all. I want a big break, and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while.”
This hiatus follows the success of her 2021 album ’30’, which earned her the British Album of the Year award at the 2022 Brit Awards. Fans will have to wait for Adele’s return to music, as she embarks on this new chapter in her creative journey.
