Popular skit maker, Sabinus, has expressed gratitude to God for the safe release of his father, who was abducted by kidnappers in Rivers State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, resulting in the death of a security operative.
In a post on his Instagram page, Sabinus revealed that a ransom was paid for his father’s freedom, but did not disclose the amount. He stated, “Kidnappers who kidnapped my father could still watch my content and laugh; life is like that. But we thank God for providing it; otherwise, I would have been so sorry. Thank you, Lord.”
Sabinus’ father was released after a successful negotiation, and the skit maker is thankful for the outcome. The incident highlights the ongoing security challenges in the country, but Sabinus is relieved that his father is safe.
