The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the fixtures for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, with Nigeria’s Super Eagles set to begin their campaign against neighboring Benin Republic.
The match, scheduled for September, will see the Super Eagles face off against a Benin Republic team managed by former Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr. The Super Eagles will then travel to Kigali for a matchday two encounter with Rwanda’s Amavubi.
In October, Nigeria will face Libya’s Mediterranean Knights in a double-header, before wrapping up their qualifying campaign with an away fixture against Benin Republic and a home clash against Rwanda in November.
The top two teams in the group will secure qualification for the AFCON 2025 finals, which will be hosted by Morocco.
