Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Victony, has shared a heartfelt account of his bitter breakup experience with his ex-girlfriend.
In an interview on the “Is This Seat Taken?” podcast, hosted by Nollywood actress, Chinasa Anukam, Victony revealed how he felt betrayed and foolish after discovering his ex-girlfriend’s infidelity.
The singer recounted how his ex-girlfriend had deceived him, claiming a certain man was just a friend, when in reality, she was cheating on him with the same man. Victony expressed his initial open-mindedness, stating, “She was telling me about this other guy, and I was like, ‘this guy was just her friend.'” However, he eventually realized the truth, saying, “At the end of the day, it turned out he was not her friend. That was very mad because when I realised everything that was going on, I felt very stupid.”
