The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged ministers and youths to be cautious of sexual immorality, stressing that no amount of anointing can withstand temptation.
Speaking at the Ministers & Workers Conference of RCCG Americas 1, Adeboye shared his personal experience, saying he still runs faster than before to avoid sexual temptation despite his age and anointing.
He warned that sexual immorality can destroy even the most anointed individuals, citing the example of Samson in the Bible. “Samson was anointed, but a woman finished him,” he said.
Adeboye advised youths to flee from lust and anything that looks like sin, urging them to be careful of flattering words from the opposite sex. “When you see a girl smiling at you in a funny way, run,” he told the boys.
He also cautioned that hidden sins can come to light years later, destroying one’s ministry and reputation. “There is no grace for what God says you should run from,” he emphasized.
The cleric’s message stressed the importance of fleeing youthful lust and avoiding sexual immorality, which can lead to destruction despite one’s anointing or spiritual standing.
