The Euro 2024 Round of 16 matches held on Monday have determined three of the four quarter-final fixtures.
The match between France and Belgium ended with a 1-0 victory for France, courtesy of a last-minute own goal by Jan Vertonghen. France will now face Portugal in the quarter-finals.
Portugal’s match with Slovenia ended goalless after 120 minutes, but Portugal emerged victorious after winning the penalty shootout, thanks to Diogo Costa’s three saves.
England will face Switzerland in the quarter-finals, following Switzerland’s 2-0 win against Italy on Sunday. Spain will face hosts Germany, after thrashing Georgia 4-1 in the Round of 16. The quarter-final match between Spain and Germany promises to be an exciting encounter.
The confirmed quarter-final fixtures are as follows:

– Spain vs. Germany
The final quarter-final fixture will be determined after the remaining Round of 16 match is played. The quarter-final matches are scheduled to take place on July 5 and 6.
