Afrobeats sensation Davido has reached a new milestone in his illustrious career, as his fourth studio album ‘Timeless’ has surpassed 450 million streams on Spotify.
This achievement marks the first time any of Davido’s albums have reached this milestone on the platform.
‘Timeless’, which was released on March 31, 2023, has enjoyed immense success and broken multiple records on Spotify ¹ ². The album’s lead single ‘Unavailable’, featuring Musa Keys, has also surpassed 100 million streams, making it Davido’s first lead song to achieve this feat ¹ ².
The album has spawned several hit singles, including ‘Feel’, ‘Kante’ featuring Fave, and ‘No Competition’ featuring Asake ¹ ². ‘Timeless’ also earned Davido three nominations at the 66th Grammys, with ‘Unavailable’ feat Musa Keys nominated for Best African Song Performance, ‘Feel’ for Best Global Song Performance, and ‘Timeless’ for Best Global Album ¹ ².
With ‘Timeless’ surpassing 450 million streams, Davido has now reached a total of 2 billion streams across all credits on Spotify ¹ ². This achievement makes him the 6th most streamed Nigerian artist on the platform, behind Wizkid, Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, and Ckay ¹ ².
