2 Dead, 1 Injured In A Fatal Accident Along Otta Road, Ogun
On Monday, in Ogun, the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) said an auto crash that took place around the Indomie axis on the road to Idiroko had claimed two people’s lives, while another person sustained serious injuries.
TRACE’s Sango-Ota Area Commander, Mr Adekunle Ajibade, told the Nigeria News Agency (NAN), in Ota, about 8.10 a.m. the accident happened.
Ajibade clarified that the accident was caused by a motorcyclist from Iyana-Iyesi who was on the Oju-Ore, Ota route and was riding against traffic after a gridlock in the city.
He said the motorcyclists involved in the accident were an articulated vehicle and a Honda car.
The commander said: “The victims’ corpses were deposited in the morgue of Ifo General Hospital, while the survivor is also receiving treatment at General Hospital, Ota.
“The driver of the articulated vehicle, the motorcycle and the other involved vehicles were also taken to the Onipanu Divisional Police Station, Ota, Ogun.”
Ajibade warned motorcyclists against driving off roads to prevent needless loss of life.
