17 Chinese Men Arrested For Illegal Mining Of Gold In Osun State
27 unlawful miners, comprising 17 Chinese nationals and 10 locals, together with a local traditional chief have been arrested In Osun State.
They had been arrested following a coordinated sting operation round Ilesa and Ife axis of the State with the aid of the lately inaugurated Joint Task Force, JTF.
Speaking on the development, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the State Governor, Mr Abdullahi Binuyo, stated no accountable government would fold its palms and watch its land being degraded by means of unauthorized persons.
